Ed Cook, a suburban Chicago-area artist who paints miniature pieces -- usually under four inches -- is highly acclaimed both nationally and internationally with many awards to his name.

Here's what he says about his above work: "The painting is of a flag on the door of a barn near my home. The woman who owned the farm made it but has since passed away. However, what she lovingly made, although faded and falling into disrepair along with the barn, speaks of her love of country."

Thanks for sharing, Ed -- we at Art BEAT Buzz LOVE it!!
