"This is the most recent painting of a Stellar's Jay I saw in British Columbia years ago. I kept the detail down to accentuate the bird. We had stopped for lunch at a picnic site and the bird decided to join us. At one time the bold creature flew onto the table to pick up some crumbs as we enjoyed our sandwiches."

Ed’s work has been recognized with inclusion in the Whiskey Painters of America and Miniature Artists of America of which he holds a Signature Membership. He’s also an inductee in the Illinois Senior Hall of Fame and the Fox Valley Arts Hall of Fame. For the past 30 years, he has been represented by River Gallery in Chattanooga, Tenn. Ed resides in Batavia, IL. ###
