The Wheaton Public Library is located at 225 N. Cross Street. It has a designated art gallery space with shows rotating through regularly. The Wayne Art League was started in the 1950s at the Little H9ome Church by the Wayside on Army Trail Road in Wayne, IL. They are a group of 40-plus artists working in a variety of styles and mediums. They meet every Monday morning to paint or draw. In the warmer months, they move outdoors to pain plein air in various parks and private yards.
