American Academy of Art graduate, Trevor Aguiniga, has found his passion designing creative, water features including artistic bowls at Aquascape Designs in St. Charles, IL. “I like each pot to tell a story," he explains. “And when I’m working on a large exterior project, I view the commercial or residential property as the canvas and the rocks, materials, plants, and waterfalls as the media. I enjoy coming up with themes to unify the entire project which all ties back to my art background.”

Trevor’s role at Aquascape is Application & Product manager. From working on water feature construction crews to designing the water feature bowls for the retail area, Trevor relies on his artistic vision for completing each project. Balance and composition are important elements along with consideration for scale. Often, the larger the better, when it comes to making a dramatic visual statement.
