Congratulations to Geneva, IL Artist & Photographer, Jeanne E. Dyer...St. Charles Arts Council Names its Solo Exhibit Gallery in Her Honor on 9/10/2026
The Jeanne E. Dyer Gallery was officially announced at the opening of her show at the St. Charles Arts Council, 121 N. 2nd Street in St. Charles, IL, on Thursday evening, September 10, 2026. Scroll down to view more of Jeanne's art...
"I am very honored...It has been amazing to see this organization grow, in both size and recognition, in the past couple years," Jeanne says.
Jeanne holds a bachelor's degree in fine art and has been very active in arts leadership both in Wisconsin and Illinois. Retiring to Lake Geneva in 2006, she served as President of the Geneva Lake Art Association from 2012 - 2013. Upon moving to Geneva, IL in 2014, she served as President of both the Greater Geneva Art Guild, and on the Board of the Geneva Foundation for the Arts from 2021-2023.
Her artwork and photographs have been juried into exhibits at the Norris Cultural Arts Center; Fine Line Creative Arts Center; Water Street Community Gallery, Batavia, IL; Geneva and St. Charles Public Libraries; St. Charles Arts Council Gallery and have hung my art in various St. Charles and Geneva businesses as well as in private collections in the U.S., Germany and South Africa.
Jeanne says..."Even as a young girl, I have always been happiest when I have a pencil, pen, brush or camera in my hand. I enjoy capturing the beauty of this world and sharing it with others through my art. During my life, I have been very fortunate to have lived on four continents, in five very different countries, each with its own particular character. I’ve studied the inhabitants; human, animal and flora, to create landscapes and portraits. My artwork is a reflection of what I’ve learned about the world."
Additionally, she has a European Travel photography exhibit at Livia Italian Eatery in Geneva. IL., running concurrently with my exhibit at the St. Charles Arts Council Gallery. ###
