On Monday, October 17th 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Wheaton Public Library, Maggie Capettini will give a free painting demonstration titled "Efficient & Expressive Oils" with both in-person and virtual attendance options. Watch as Capettini demonstrates her techniques to work efficiently and with focus whether painting outdoors or in. She combines oil washes, paint applied thickly with knives, as well as pigment sticks to capture dynamic and impressionistic scenes. Provided in partnership with the DuPage Art League. This is a hybrid event, with an in-person presenter and both in-person and virtual participants.

Maggie Capettini is a Downers Grove artist who paints with oils, both en plein air and in the studio. She has a BA in Studio Art and a Masters’ in Teaching.
