Hinsdale, IL Gallery--Celestial Art Curation--Hosts Successful Opener for July Artists: Lauren Ottley and Alicia Urbanski -- Contemporary Fine Artists

Celestial Art Curation Gallery presents Shared Gravity, an exhibition featuring a new series of original paintings by house artist Lauren Ottley and guest artist Alicia Urbanski. The Shared Gravity series consists of six large-scale works; four collaborative pieces and two individual works, one from each artist.

What fun to visit a relatively new art gallery in downtown Hinsdale hosting a lovely wine and charcuterie reception for two incredibly fine artists -- see more work below -- showcasing their contemporary pieces on display for the full month of July.

In this interesting and collaborative series, Lauren and Alicia sought to visually communicate their interest in the tension between autonomy and connection and how separate people, experiences, and emotional histories intertwine while the artists remain fully themselves.

CELESTIAL ART CURATION (https://www.celestialartcuration.com/) is located on the upper floor at 9 E. First Street, Suite 2 in busy, upscale downtown Hinsdale, a trendy suburb in the Chicago area. Boutique-sized with lots of bright natural lighting, this adorable gallery brims with exciting work and friendly assistance. The Thursday, July 9, 2026, evening reception was well attended with admiring patrons eagerly meeting Alicia and Lauren who gladly answered questions about their creative process.

Both artists are not only showcasing their collaborative work but also their uniquely individual pieces set at all price points.

Alicia Urbanski studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, IL. Her artistry spans more than three decades. She poses here with "Echo". Working in acrylic, oil, charcoal, graphite and mixed media, she creates expressive fine art that explores connection, transformation and memory, the shared experiences that unite us. Lauren Ottley is a contemporary abstract and figurative artist shown here with some of her popular pieces at Celestial Art Curation. The very talented owner and founder of this gallery is Christine Gebaurer.
