Haven't yet seen the amazing “Hokusai & Ukiyo-e: The floating World” Exhibition at the Cleve Carney Museum of Art at the McAninch Arts Center, COD, Glen Ellyn, IL? Well, it's a deep dive into Japanese art history and hearing Diana's incredible overview of the exhibit before you go will help you get far more out of your visit! The exhibit is very interactive and for all ages! Diana is the Director of the McAninch Arts Center and has been a very busy presenter throughout the DuPage County area highlighting this exceptional exhibit.

Diana will discuss this exciting new exhibit that includes 70 pieces from the Edoardo Chiossone Collection never before seen in the U.S. The exhibit includes historical Edo & Ukiyo-e works focusing on the lives of Hokusai, Hiroshige and Chiossone, along with the development of ukioyo-e and its lasting impact.
The Cleve Carney exhibit also includes an Edo streetscape walk-through experience, immersive history of manga and anime, a Hokusai kids creative area, “Great Wave” garden, the art of woodblock printing, and so much more.
