7/16/2026 Elisa Boughner's Artifex Studio in DeKalb, IL Celebrates a Ribbon Cutting, Open Studio & Her Walkway Luminaries...details here

Artifex Studio, owned by Elisa Boughner, is located at 235 E. Lincoln Highway in downtown DeKalb, IL. She will be hosting a ribbon cutting with the City of Dekalb on Thursday July 16th at 5:30 PM followed by an Open Studio celebration until 10:00 PM. She created luminaries for the city to light a walkway from the Van Buren Plaza to Lincoln HWY -- pretty neat!

Elisa's colorful luminaries add a touch of whimsy to an otherwise dark walkway for residents and visitors to enjoy. Here they are pictured close-up in her own, very colorful studio.
