"Corazon de carton" is a gallery exhibition of cardboard art by women cartoneros that include Miriam Fernandez and Gloria Contreras. Cartoneros are informal pickers who collect recyclable materials, paper and cardboard. The women featured in this exhibition use their skills and creativity to transform cardboard into beautiful and functional objects. These include Albrijes, pinatas and other interesting art pieces. All items are for sale, and proceeds will benefit the women cartoneros who created them.
