Rick Decorie's moody photographs capture more than the eye can see. Don't miss his upcoming exhibit running through 4/30/2026!

RUSHVILLE, IL — Photographer Rick Decorie returns to The Hub Arts and Cultural Center, 210 N. Congress Street, with his new exhibition, Landmarks & Landscapes. The opening reception will be held March 6 from 5 to 7 p.m., with an artist talk at 6 p.m. The exhibit runs through April 30.

Featuring 21 framed photographs from Illinois and across the Midwest, Landmarks & Landscapes reflects the quiet presence of both the natural and built world. From open prairies and shaded creeks to weathered barns and forgotten towers, the work explores how land and structure exist together—sometimes in harmony, sometimes in tension.

With a tone that is both nostalgic and documentary, Decorie’s images encourage viewers to slow down, look closely, and rediscover the beauty and resilience of everyday rural surroundings. Prints range in size from 8" x 12" to 22" x 30".
