Join the Bloomingdale Artists Association on Wednesday, November 12 at 6:30 PM at the Bloomingdale Park District Museum (108 S. Bloomingdale Rd) for a program on Suminigashi, the art of Japanese marbling that dates back to the 12th century, with artist Mami Takahashi. Mami will do a demonstration, and participants will be able to go home with a beautiful sheet of paper of their own creation.

Visitors are welcome, contact Bev Petrosius at (630)624-9545 to register for the workshop or membership info. There is a $10 drop-in fee, or consider becoming a member. The BAA welcomes new members, beginner to experienced artists, or anyone just curious about art. Membership dues for the calendar year of September through May are $30.
