“Noah Gabriel Inspirations” will be on display September 4 through October 28, 2025, at Marmion Academy’s Dr. Scholl Gallery located at 1000 Butterfield Road in Aurora Illinois.

There will be a reception with a musical performance, open to the public, on Sunday, October 26 from 2 to 4 PM.  If you would like to view the exhibit during school hours, please contact Lisa Dzuricsko via email ldzuricsko@marmion.org to secure an appointment time.

Inspirations centers around musicians and people who have influenced the artist’s life and work.  Every artist, no matter the trade, is constantly trying to both find and amplify their voice; an endeavor that demands a lifetime of inspiration.  Noah Gabriel, Aurora native and veteran of the Fox Valley music scene, believes this whole heartedly, and, in an effort to pay tribute to those who have influenced him and his music, he has spent the last 13 years developing a unique approach to portraiture.  Fascinated by the stark beauty of black and white photography he began his painting journey by playing around with only two colors: Paynes Grey (thinking it was black) and titanium white.  Very quickly he found himself developing another voice filled with the echoes of those who crawled up on these canvases.

Please contact Lisa Dzuricsko via email ldzuricsko@marmion.org if you need more information.

Please note that the gallery is not wheelchair accessible.
