April 26, 2021... The Fox River Arts Ramble will feature more than 85 artists at 17 venues in St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and Aurora from 9-5 on Saturday, June 5.
“The public is invited to “ramble” through these communities to enjoy and experience the abundance of talent we possess right here in our own backyard,” stated Kathryn Hill, Executive Director of the St. Charles Arts Council. “I’m thrilled with the participation level and excitement that our area artists bring to the table!”
The Arts Ramble is a collaborative effort among Fine Line Creative Arts Center, 37W570 Bolcum Road in St. Charles, IL, the St. Charles Arts Council, and Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water Street, in Batavia, IL, and was created to make artists and their studios/galleries accessible to the public.
Fine Line Creative Arts Center and Water Street Studios will host artists in outdoor tents as well as food and entertainment. The St. Charles Arts Council will host artists at Kava Diem Coffee Shop, One Illinois Street in St. Charles, and an artist reception there from 1:30 - 3:30. The public is welcome to attend.
2021 participating venues include: AURORA: Aurora Art League, Aurora Regional Fire Museum, Gary Brown Art Gallery/Studio, Nieponski Gallery, The Cotton Seed Creative Exchange, The Perch, Vizo Arts and Wyckwood House. BATAVIA: 407 Elm Pop-Up Outdoor Gallery and Water Street Studios. GENEVA: Gallery 28, Haven Interiors Studio Gallery and Proud Fox Gallery & Frame Shop. ST. CHARLES: 116 Gallery at Mixology Salon Spa, Fine Line Creative Arts Center, Kava Diem and Waldron Designs
