Tame that Holiday Stress in Minutes with "Art Therapy" -- No Drawing Necessary!

If you’re already feeling the stress of the holidays setting in – shopping, baking, wrapping, entertaining, not to mention the cost of it all – reset your holiday spirit with some art therapy – no drawing necessary!

According to a new University of Vienna study published in the journal of Frontiers in Psychology, researchers discovered that after just one or two minutes of viewing paintings online, their research participants reported feeling less anxious, less lonely, and an increased sense of well-being.

Scientists have determined that art can spur powerful emotions, such as awe or wonder, linked to improved mental health. And, when seeing art in person is not an option, online viewing works just as well. Google Arts and Culture (ArtsAndCulture.Google.com) includes artwork from more than 2,000 museums.

A little visual therapy goes a long way to boosting your mood in no time!
