The St. Charlles Arts Council announces its forthcoming selling exhibit entitled "Summerscapes" -- a juried art exhibit opening soon at the Arts Resource Center, 121 N. Second Street, Suite H in St. Charles, IL

The juried show features entries that are both two-and three-dimensional in a variety of media. Each piece shows the artists' interpretation of what summer means to them from the activities and holiday events that bring people together.

Awards will be presented on Saturday, July 19, from 5-7 PM, as follows: Best in Show, $150; second place, $75, third place, $50, and Honorable Mentions as determined by the judge. Refreshments served.

The exhibit is open to the public during normal gallery hours: 11 AM -- 3 PM Thursdays through Sundays.

The St. Charles Arts Council is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit corporation promoting arts and cultural activities to the community.
