A non-stop crowd filed steadily in-and-out of DuPage Art League, Sunday afternoon, April 18, from 2-4 PM for the artist reception honoring Sally's month-long solo show in Gallery II on display now. Before any DuPage Art League member reaches this pinnacle, they must first qualify through a point system established by the organization. All works are available for sale with the artist donating back 25% to the gallery.

"This is absolutely amazing, and I feel so undeserving," Sally said modestly as scores of admirers asked her about her work.

Sally studied art at Northern Illinois University and has been dedicated to visual arts all her life. Currently, she is on the board of directors at Naperville Art League serving as president. By supporting several local art leagues through these memberships, she enjoys participating in a variety of shows wherever she can. This latest exhibit at DuPage Art League, 218 W. Front Street in Wheaton, IL, showcases her varied subject matter from figurative to landscape in acrylic.

Make visiting this gallery a destination by enjoying a glass of wine, appetizer or even a crepe (Suzette's Creperie is right across the street) at the many nearby, upscale restaurants in the area. There's a parking garage conveniently located across from the art league. This show is well worth the trip!
