Benjamin Calvert III is a third-generation printmaker, specializing in woodblock relief prints. His art originated as a mechanism to help him deal with grief. He started woodblock printing by taking an independent study course at Knox College. He loves hearing interpretations of his work from others, and enjoys creating images that are at once familiar, yet open to interpretation.
Visitors are welcome; fee is $10. Or consider becoming a member. The BAA welcomes new members, beginner to experienced artists, or anyone just curious about art. Membership dues for the calendar year of September 2022 through May 2023 are $30. Bloomingdale Park District Museum
