Publisher's Desk: Galivanting Through Galleries! Full Issue Returns Next Week...stay tuned

One of many popular local galleries -- this one has four separate locations across the Door County, WI area.

I'm currently touring amazing galleries in the popular art mecca of Door County, Wisconsin and discovering incredible talent all along the way. What is especially gratifying to witness is all the art sales happening up here. In gallery after gallery, people are purchasing original art in every type of media for their home or commercial property. I've also enjoyed listening to how patrons engage the artist in conversation about the back story of their work -- eager to learn more about both the art and the artist.

Prices are all over the place from very affordable to very pricey. You don't have to be rich to be an art collector. You can certainly find something that fits your price range that you can be proud to share with your friends and family.

In the coming weeks, we will be featuring more about the galleries and artists we've encountered -- so stay tuned.

This week will be an abbreviated issue, but next week we will return to normal.
