The Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) is pleased to present our juried Small Works Exhibition at the Elmhurst Artists' Guild Gallery this coming spring from May 30–June 26.
This upcoming small works juried exhibition invites artists to explore the unique power of scale where intimacy, precision, and impact all converge.
The exhibition highlights how smaller pieces can command attention, draw viewers in, and communicate with immediacy and nuance. For artists, it’s an opportunity to experiment, refine, and share work that is both accessible and compelling. Submitting to a show like this offers artists a chance to be part of a focused, dynamic presentation that celebrates the strength and sophistication of art in a more intimate format.
JURORS: Dan Addington, Artist, and Owner of Addington Gallery in Chicago and Andrew Sobol, Designer, and Chair of the Department of Art & Design at Elmhurst University in Elmhurst IL.
This exhibit is open to artists 50 years of age and older. You must also be a member of CAVA. Non-members may enter but must also pay CAVA’s annual membership dues. Artists are encouraged to apply to this juried show with works in all media. Works may not exceed 24" in any one direction (including frame).
EAG GALLERY HOURS: Wednesday & Thursday, 12–5pm | Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11am–5pm | Closed Monday & Tuesday.
