Moderator for the afternoon, Becky Blaine – show co-chair along with Sharon Schmidt -- remarked that Judge Josephine Burke, Director of the Northern Illinois Art Museum traversed the gallery for two hours trying to decide upon award recipients. Definitely it had to have been challenging considering the array of talent among the exceptional 60-plus juried pieces displayed across a wide array of mediums.
Norris Gallery is located at 1040 Dunham Road. The show is open to the public now through February 19, 2023. Gallery hours are 11 AM to 4 PM Thursday through Sunday and is free to visit.
