“Wild Thing” by Jan Rajeck is among the fiber art on display at the Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery.

The Fiber Art Divas group presents its annual “Elements of Innovation” art show now through Oct. 12, 2024, at the Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery, 508 N. Center St., Naperville. The annual show draws visitors from across the Chicagoland area and neighboring states. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm.  The show is free and open to the public.

On display will be over 35 original pieces including art quilts, wearable art, felted wool creations, beadwork, embroidery, weaving, AI design, and more. Some items will be for sale. The members also had a challenge under the theme “Time”.  A guest display of work by members of the Professional Art Quilt Alliance (PAQA) will be part of the event.

The show reception will be on Sunday, September 29 from 2 to 4 pm. Techniques used by some of the artists will be demonstrated in the classroom. Refreshments will be served.

The Fiber Art Divas group meets at 7pm the fourth Monday of each month, except December, at Naperville Art League’s Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery. Meetings are open to anyone interested in fiber art.
