For more than 30 years, this three-months-long, annual juried show has connected artists with patrons across the world with outstanding artwork in all mediums.
Visitors will find 100 artists under a 40,000 square-foot tent who have recreated working studios for themselves. For the nominal adult entrance price of $12 ($10 for Seniors and Military) along with convenient free parking – attending is an absolute must! The show is located at 7899 E. Mayo Blvd at the intersection of Hayden and Mayo.
Once inside the sprawling tent, you will discover a vast array of incredible displays where many artists have set up working spaces to demonstrate their artistry along with displaying their works in their own well-lit gallery space. From Western-themed art, sculpture, and jewelry to the more traditional or contemporary, there’s an artist here for every taste and décor style.
Each creator that Art Beat Buzz met was friendly and eager to discuss their work. Their stories will be featured here over the next several months. It was also gratifying to see so many patrons buying! This was much more than browsing show -- visitors were purchasing these one-of-a-kind pieces where prices were not an issue.
Additionally, the show’s Art Discovery series includes programming where artists discuss and answer questions about their work. Other topics in this series include “The Art of Collecting and Showcasing Your Collection, “How Art Promotes Well-being” and more. When ready to take a refreshment break there’s an on-site café offering light fare and a select assortment of wine, spirits and other beverages as well as an outdoor sculpture court to browse.
If you live anywhere near Scottsdale, this is an event that can’t be missed. Or, if you’re planning a vacation, this show alone, is a great reason to visit.
