PANDEMIC

Usha Kolpe, M.D. is an anesthesiologist at Loyola Medical Center and Advocate Health Care. During the pandemic, Usha embraced painting -- oil and acrylic -- as her coping mechanism. She has continued painting even though the pandemic appears to be waning and has entered several online national and international competitions with positive results.

At 127 years old, the Venice Biennale is the world's oldest, and one of the most widely acclaimed, contemporary art fairs. This year it features 213 artists from 58 countries across 80 venues in that beautiful city. This fair runs now through November 27, 2022.
