PHOTO 2025: Through The Lens
Below is the prospectus for their January photography show “Through The Lens.” Submitted work in any photographic process is acceptable. The interpretation of the title is left for the artist to determine.
Bring us your most visual images which will be juried by local photographer professional Jim Rendant, who will also determine the cash awards.
"Through The Lens" is open to any artist 18 and over. A limit of four pieces per artist may be accepted. We will only accept work that has been completed in the last three years and has not previously been on display at the Museum. No work that requires special installation is eligible. No nudity or any pieces deemed controversial or inappropriate by the curators will be allowed entry.
Note: All work must be properly framed matted and wired. Wires must be taut and secure at a point at least 1/3 down the frame. No saw-tooth hangers. Wrapped edges must be finished.
The drop-off comes up quickly after the holidays for this show: Tuesday, January 7 from 4-8PM or Wednesday, January 8 from 10AM-2PM.
There is a non-refundable fee of $10 each or 4/$30.payable by cash (exact change) or check (made out to the Bloomingdale Park District). A maximum of four pieces may be submitted.
