(Palatine, IL) – Artist and instructor Maria Herrera will be teaching a special in-person, one-day gouache workshop hosted by Beth Chien on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 10am–3pm in Beth's Palatine, IL home studio. Address will be provided to ticket holders -- see ticket information below.

Designed for artists of all levels, the workshop covers:

• Exploring paint consistencies and water control

• Creating gradients and blending

• Applying layering techniques for depth and vibrancy

Each student will leave with a completed mini landscape showcasing the techniques they’ve learned.
