9/21/25 "Vicinity 2025" Awards Reception from 2-4 PM at Norris Gallery in St. Charles, IL on view through 11/2/25

Vicinity 2025 is up, and the show reception is Sunday, September 21 from 2 - 4 pm. Awards will be presented at 3 pm. The show was judged by renowned artists Don Yang and Wes Douglas. 70 artists are represented in the show with original 2D and 3D work that is diverse in theme, execution and media. The reception is free and open to the public. All work is for sale. The Norris Gallery is open Thursday - Sunday from 11 am - 4 pm. For Vicinity 2025, the judges selected Cynthis Hellyer - Heinz's colored pencil drawing for the Lester Norris Award (Best of Show). Three Awards of Excellence were chosen for artwork by Catherine McLain, Nancy Legner and H. Dean Willis. Kathleen Eaton, Yale Factor, Roberta Kullen, Frank Leonard and Howard Russo had artwork selected for Honorable Mention Awards. Vicinity 2025 will be up through Sunday, November 2.
