The DuPage Art League (DPAL) will once again host “Best of the Best,” the renowned gallery

exhibition, featuring the works of more than 50 award-winning artists from 11 suburban arts

organizations. The exhibit allows artists and art lovers an opportunity to view the work of

artists who have been recognized by their peers.

Each arts organization is invited to submit entries from pieces they have recognized with

awards in the past year.

An awards ceremony and artists reception will be held Sunday, Aug 9, from 2–4 pm at the

DuPage Art League, 218 W. Front Street, Wheaton. Judges will award ribbons and cash

prizes to the best pieces. The exhibit can also be viewed Aug. 1–25 during DPAL’s regular

gallery hours, Mon. – Fri. from 9 am – 5 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am – 2 pm. For more

information, visit www.dupageartleague.org or call (630) 653-7090.

This year’s participating organizations are: Addison Art Guild, Aurora Art League, Downers

Grove Artists’ Guild, DuPage Art League, Elmhurst Artists’ Guild, La Grange Art League,

Lemont Artists’ Guild, Naperville Art League, Oak Brook Art League, Town and Country Art

League, and Yellow House Artists.

Best of the Best, was started by The Alliance of Fine Art but on its dissolution in 2022, the

Best of Best was discontinued. It was revived by the DuPage Art League in 2023.
