CAVA’s Members Exhibition at Mana Contemporary

Chicago, IL — The Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) proudly announces its annual Members Exhibition will be held for the first time at Mana Contemporary with works by artists aged 50 and older, on view from March 1st, through March 28th, 2026. The exhibition will be displayed in the 5^th floor gallery space Monday through Friday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, March 7^th from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm with awards being presented at 2:00 pm. In addition, CAVA will host an artist talk at Mana Contemporary on Saturday, March 21^st from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. Admission is free and open to the public. Mana Contemporary is located at 2233 S Throop Street in Chicago.

CAVA is anticipating a robust exhibition of over 150 pieces of art representing our diverse and thriving membership. A variety of mediums will be included such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, and encaustic paintings, ceramics, photography, drawings, printmaking, collage, jewelry, and sculpture. Open to the public and all the art on display is available for purchase.

Founded in 1988, CAVA has grown from a modest collective of 75 to a thriving organization of over 360 members, making it the largest U.S. nonprofit dedicated exclusively to visual artists over 50. CAVA’s commitment extends beyond gallery walls through critique salons, studio visits, and an annual symposium. The organization fosters a dynamic, intergenerational community of artists.
