3/28/2026 Art Reception and Poetry Reading 1-4 PM at Addison Center for the Arts

The Addison Center for the Arts is delighted to announce "2026 Expressions: Art & Verse", its sixth collaboration between Illinois artists and the Illinois State Poetry Society. The show will run from March 27 through April 18, 2026, and will feature a gorgeous collection of digital photographs, woodblock relief prints, acrylic, oil, watercolor, mixed-media paintings, collages, and woodburning pieces.

This year's participating artists are Roseanne Benson, Elizabeth Berry, Benjamin Calvert III, Susan Cargill, Peter Hagerty, Laura Kuhrau, Lisa Lucaccioni, Kathy McHenry, Tom Michalski, Iglika Milcheva-Godfrey, David Morris, Sharon O'Conor Sleezer, Iryna Shkrobach, Lori Szkodzinski, Lyn Tietz, and Carol Weber.

The Illinois State Poetry Society’s featured members are Carol Alfus, Rafael Antigua, Candace Armstrong, Marie Asner, Bakul Banerjee, Mary Beth Bretzlauf, Paul Bucheit, Hanh Chau, Michael Escoubas, Kathryn Haydon, M. E. Hope, Mark Hudson, Cielo Jones, Jill Langois, Rene Parks, Raj Shah, Joris Soeding, Jill Spealman, and R. M. Yager.
